Manga-style Artwork (black and white)

These pictures here are drawn in Manga-style, but were not colored. Instead, most of them were shaded with pencil. Most of these works are quite old, from the beginning of my drawing-phase in 1999 and 2000, so if you look at them, please keep in mind that I have improved much since then.

Trance and her R2 (2009-05-13)
My favorite picture of Trance Killian so far, and it's a shame I didn't have the nerve to try and color it yet. I very much like how the clothes worked out and her whole appearance finally conveys her sexy and confident attitude. She knows exactly who she is and what she's capable of.

Speaking of which: That pouch on her belt holds the lightsaber that she took from a Dark Jedi she killed in self-defense. Over the years she not only learned how to wield it, but also discovered that she had force powers herself.

The R2-unit in the back is R2-LC, nicknamed "Lucy", one of her two R2-units that help her maintain her starship.
Trance with Blaster (Version 2) (2009-05-12)
A rework of the first picture, fixing some details to what I thought they should look like. Most notably the pants and belt, but also minor adjustments to other things.
Trance naked (2009-05-11)
This Picture should be self-explanatory.
Charyp'soma (2009-05-10)
A sketch of a somewhat whacky Star Wars RPG character: Charyp'soma, the Buccaneer Queen.

Formerly, Tiria Neva was a highly acclaimed holo-actress, famed for her role as Charyp'soma the Buccaneer Queen who always stole from the rich, gave to the poor, fought the evil Star Dominion and was infamous for her seducing every male co-star in front of the cameras - and behind.
Then, an Imperial Moff decided that the subliminal propaganda of her holonovels was enough and dispatched a Star Destroyer to the secret shooting location of her next holovid. The holo-diva was still in her trailer when the orbital bombardment began, and by some luck she managed to come out alive - the sole survivor of the whole film team.
Already dressed up to portray the pirate queen she witnessed the horrors of Imperial doctrine first hand - and her mind snapped, making her indeed the role she was about to play. All gung-ho and swashbuckling, she's now looking for a ship and crew to get her revenge on the evil Star Dominion who slaughtered her former crew.

When I drew this I was under the impression that female Twi'lek also featured normal ears, not just cones, but not even canonical sources seem to be totally sure on this topic.
Trance posing (2008-11-26)
Trance Killian in another sexy pose that I used for 3 different pictures. On this one she's wearing her casual smuggler's outfit with a long tank top (which is quite uncommon for her as she tends to show her belly-button).
Dhana (2008-11-25)
Dhana, the warrioress from my short stories, is ready to draw her sword.

I remember that I made this picture during a week's stay at a hotel when I attended a computer certification Training. I had no template for the pose, but had this idea in my head and couldn't stop before I finished it.

I drew only very few pictures of Dhana, but I very much like this one.
Trance with Jacket (2008-08-04)
And another picture of Trance Killian. When the weather gets rough she usually puts on a leather jacket that also Looks cool, although I am not totally satisfied with how this picture turned out.
Trance with Blaster (2008-08-03)
Another picture of Trance Killian, holding one of her heavy blaster pistols.

I used the cover of a video game magazine as template for the pose and clothes, that's why it still looks kinda strange. The pistol also does not really look like a Star Wars blaster pistol, so I did a second version of this.
Reena in Uniform (2008-08-02)
Captain Reena Arrowwind, leader of the highly acclaimed "Wild Squadron" in her flightsuit. It features her rank insignia, unit patch, blaster pistol and boot-knife.

Having forsaken her noble heritage she instead joined the Rebellion against the Empire and her service record includes her being one of the few surviving members of "Green Squadron" at the battle of Endor.

Afterwards she continued to serve in several rag-tag fighter groups until she finally got her own command: "Wild Squadron", a mixed starfighter squadron that usually features the misfits from all other squadrons. Somehow she managed to get them into shape and now their mission profile includes some of the most hopeless and suicidal missions of all New Republic Forces - and their success has made them almost as legendary as the famous "Rogue Squadron".
Partydress (2008-08-01)
Reena Arrowwind, daughter of noble heritage attends a glamourous party and has put on a stunning dress for the occasion.

Normally she would be flying an A-Wing starfighter for the New Republic in our Star Wars RPG-sessions, but once in a while she enjoys a time off, being invited by Princess Leia, a friend of hers.
Angry Teleria (Sketch) (2007-04-20)
Finally, I got up and started to draw a new and cool picture of my favorite Earthdawn-character Teleria.

She has drawn her swords and is about to engage in a furious battle against some baddie who has made her really mad. Ouch!

This picture is yet unfinished.
Shayleen (Sketch) (2007-03-15)
This is a so far unfinished picture, but I decided to upload it here anyway.

The girl is Shayleen, one of my Earthdawn-characters. She's a wizard and also knows how to wield a sabre. Shayleen was born in Africa (in the in-game land "Aznan") and was abducted by Theran slave hunters at a young age to become a pleasure-slave.

Her master was nice to her and even fell in love with her. He taught her several things like swordfighting, army tactics, Theran history and culture, but before he could set her free he became a victim of an intrigue and was murdered. So Shayleen, wrongly accused of his murder, was forced to flee.

When she and some other adepts discovered a huge magic library from before the Scourge they became local heroes in the dwarf kingdom of Throal.
Angelis (2006-05-31)
This picture shows a female character from a species called "Angelis". They're from my own Pen&Paper RPG project called "Explorers".

The word "Angelis" is derived from Latin and means "Angel".
Shower (2000-05-31)
This is Jenny, a magical girl character, taking a shower after a hard fighting lesson...
She is a character from an old (and so far unfinished) manga-project of mine.
Avariel (2000-05-15)
made this picture for a friend of mine who plays this character in an RPG that he developed himself. Avariel is an elven battle mage that can cast powerful fire-spells and also fight very well with her staff. I drew this when I was a guest-player taking over this character for one session. The GM wasn't very enthusiastic about it, though: 3 out of 5 players were mostly drawing their current characters instead of roleplaying...
Aischa (2000-04-30)
This is one of my RPG-characters from DSA: Aischa. She is a young elementalist mage whose favorite element is water. Due to her southern heritage (she grew up and studied in the city of Raschdul, close to the great Khom-desert) she dresses a bit more fancy than the northern people (and especially the northern mages). Back then she was just a beginner in adventuring as in magic and she had very few spells (mainly water-spells), but she was absolute fun to play.
Firelance (2000-03-31)
Battlemage Lana Zandor again, this time casting a huge firelance spell to fight off some nasty orcs or so. Well boys, better don't mess with this girl or you might end up as hot toast!
Vara (2000-03-01)
Another Earthdawn-char of mine, Vara Pak-Ti, just woke up and yawned heartily. Vara is a member of the human tribe of the Kathan who tattoo their olive skin with a white camouflage texture, so they are more difficult to spot in the Servos-Jungle, their home-environment (a very dangerous place indeed). Hmmm, I am not satisfied how the camouflage pattern looks on her, think I have to try this again...
The pose is based on a furry-picture by Shira Ses'kai.
Caya (2000-02-28)
This is another RPG-character of mine from DSA: Her name is Caya Berlind and she's a young warrior who seems to have come into trouble as she's wielding her huge bastard-sword, ready for the enemy to attack... I drew this during an adventure at a RPG-con in southern Germany on the last weekend of February 2000.
Battlemage Lana (2000-01-15)
Lana Zandor, a young human battlemage (watch out for her fireballs! *g*) from the German RPG-system 'Das Schwarze Auge' (aka. 'The Dark Eye'). One night in January I sat down and had this urge to draw something out of my mind. This is the result (after about one hour of work). It's also one of the first times that I tried shading my pictures.
Teleria (1999-12-15)
This is Teleria of K'than, my dearest Earthdawn-character. She's an elven swordmaster and horror-stalker and has made it through many dangerous adventures. Don't let her appearance fool you: she's almost 50 years old and has a cute little son named Fellin. This picture is from 1998 and it's the first manga-style pic I've ever drawn of one of my RPG-characters. In December 99 I dug it out again and gave it a major overhaul (especially the hair and some other stuff).
Teleria with short hair (1999-07-15)
Yes, it's the same character as above.
It was during an adventure in the tunnels under the forgotten city of Parlainth that she got into a sticky spiderweb. Her beautiful hair stuck together and nothing she would do to clean it seemed to work. So she took a sharp pair of scissors and got rid of it.
Five minutes later the wizard of her group came along saying: "Hey, I could have cast a cleaning spell on your hair..."
Sheer force was needed to take her hands away from his throat and thus save his life...
(Meanwhile, several years of game time have passed and her hair has grown long again...)
