Giza-Plateau (2005-12-30) This was my first attempt at painting with acrylic paint on canvas. It shows one of my favorite sightseeing places in the world: the Giza-Plateau in Egypt with the three Great Pyramids. In January 2005 I had been there for the second time and I very much enjoyed painting that place. Missing on this picture is the monument I borrowed my nickname from: The Sphinx. When viewed from this angle it would be to the right, just outside the picture. |
