Equine Furry Art
In this gallery there are anthropomorphic characters with equine shapes, be that horses, unicorns, pegasi or alicorns. I owe the ability to draw these characters mainly to Martin and Daniela Reichelt, aka. Shira and Nelena. In 2000 and 2001 they taught me how to draw equine furry art and so it is no wonder, that many pictures from that time show their furry characters.

Stallion (2001-10-20) I drew this picture at EF7 after being inspired by one of Nelena's pictures. It was inked much later because I didn't have the nerve to ink it after EF7. Unfortunately I couldn't think of the right colors for this pic yet. |

Little Dais (2001-08-21) Dais is one of my friends and she was having her birthday. I wanted to give her something special, so I drew this picture for her. It shows her as a little filly with lots of birthday presents. In this picture I tried a new color-technique which I learned from Bloodhound Omega at EF7. Thanks. |

Aischa as a quad-alicorn (2001-05-31) I had this urge to draw a "real" alicorn... but then, I also wanted to draw a newer picture of Aischa... well, this is the result: Aischa has learned to transform herself, too, and now she's going for a walk (or maybe for a flight?) in her temporary quad-shape. And she really seems to enjoy it. --->:-) |

Nelena Rising (2001-01-30) This picture is dedicated to Nelena, a friend of mine. Started with the pose back in December, but couldn't finish it then. Last Saturday I stumbled over it again and couldn't resist to try and finish it... Finally I've drawn a picture of Nel. It was about time 'cause she requested one months ago... Colored with my very own polychromos, yeah! |

Dais waiting (2001-01-05) Dais is out in the green (bad scan, sorry!), lying on a blanket and waiting for her friends to arrive and have fun with... Notice the cute little plushies of Nara, Nelena and Aischa? This is my contribution for Dais' Sketchbook, which was a X-mas gift from Nel, Shira and me... It's actually the first pic I colored with my own set of polychromos and I love how the colors turned out in the original. Unfortunately the scan was too bright... |

Airdancing Shira (2000-12-17) Another piece for a sketchbook, this time Shira's, which was a birthday present from Nel, Dais and me. All three of us worked in secrecy and so it was a BIG surprise for Shira.... you should have seen her face, when she unwrapped it! ;) This version is done with colored pencils (didn't have polychromos back then) and the light-effects were added with the computer. The original has a blank background... |

Dais as a quad unicorn (2000-11-02) This is my friend Dais (usually an anthro-unicorn mare) in her quad unicorn shape. She seems quite happy in this shape..... *smiles* After watching "The last Unicorn" I suddenly had the urge to draw a unicorn. At first, I wanted to draw it in the style of the movie, but soon I turned back to my own style (which is strongly influenced by Shira and Nel)... Thanks to Shira and Nel for letting me use their polychromos to color this picture. I've come to like working with polychromos, so I'll get myself an own set very soon! |

Shira as Superfilly (2000-10-16) This picture is dedicated to my friend Shira Ses'kai! It shows her dressed up as Superfilly, spreading her wings and flying away.... to fight for a better world. |

Let's dance (2000-08-31) Rhean, an equine swordmaster from a distant fantasy realm, is preparing herself for a swordfight lesson. I like this char... maybe I'll write a story about her... By Shira's definition, Rhean can't use magic because she's got no horn... well, honestly: I don't think she needs magic with those swords... *grins* This was my second try to color one of my furry-pictures... it doesn't look that good since I'm still a beginner in coloring, but it won't stay my last try... Note: Meanwhile I had written an 8-page story synapsis, but so far I didn't have the nerve to write the story in detail. |

Aischa as Anthro-Alicorn (2000-08-30) Aischa is one of my role-playing characters. Usually a beautiful human water-elementalist-mage, she was in the midst of a dangerous adventure together with her friends Dais (an Anthro-Unicorn), Kiris'ha (an Anthro-Alicorn) and Nelena (an elf changed into an Anthro-Alicorn). During that adventure Kiris'ha also transformed Aischa into an Anthro-Alicorn like Nelena to save her life... Here, Aischa's still holding her magic sword ready to fight the daemon that threatened them... Since Aischa had been dark-blonde as a human her fur is also of a similar color (it came out a bit darker because I don't have the right colors yet...) |

Nara playing ball (2000-01-01) My first attempt to draw a furry... This is based on one of Shira's pictures and it also shows one of her rp-characters: Nara Ses'kai, playing ball with her friends... I made this picture during the first week of January 2000. |
