Appearance

Leandra likes to wear scant and revealing clothes and usually poses as traveling entertainer without stressing her magical abilities. Since she has had many years of dancing classes and has already performed as a dancer in many smaller and larger cities she has the experience and the skills to dispel anyone's doubts that this is indeed her main profession.

Her yellow, cat-like eyes with the slittet pupils are easily recognized and she usually wears her long black hair that features a slight blue hue open or braided or as a pony tail.

Leandra's clothes vary between a scant top wrapped from only a few pieces of fabric and a loincloth, to a crop-top and short skirt, to a long-sleeved top with a long skirt for harsher weather conditions. All clothes are of elven craftmanship and feature elven embellishments. Depending on weather and environment she wears light sandals or leather boots. She always keeps a dark cloak ready in case she has to hide in the shadows.

She usually wears fine silver jewelry of elven heritage, in form of a plain circlet and a intricate upper arm bracelet. In addition she usually wears a pair of embellished bracers that are in fact magic items.

Her worldly possessions are kept in a large leather backpack, including her dancing costume, as well as a tambourine in case she can't get another musician to accompany her dance. She also carries a disguise kit so she can change her appearance into another person in a short amount of time, sometimes even enhanced by her magic.

Background

Leandra grew up among the Moon Elves, but always felt strange as if she didn't fully belong to them. Her mother died when Leandra was quite young and her father Cramyar, was a busy and respected wizard who didn't have enough time for his daughter. Leandra turned down magic studies in favor of dancing classes and earned disapproval from her family.

So she chose an adventuring life instead and her curiosity had her wandering the known lands for the last decade, always eager to learn and perform. It was there that she met an old sorcerer named Ellisar Darkweaver who identified her magic potential and trained her so she could finally tap into her inherent magical abilities.

Seeing that people fear the unknown she usually keeps the source of her magic confidential and poses as a dancer or wizard apprentice if necessary.
