Star Wars Adventures and Campaigns

Introduction

Over the past years we have played quite a number of Star Wars campaigns, some of which were short (5-7 game sessions) while others ran quite a long time (approx. 5 years).

Since I've been asked so many times by different people to put the stories and backgrounds of these campaigns up here so others could read through them I finally got around to publish them bit by bit. I will try to translate as many campaigns as possible, but this will take time, so please be patient.

Please note two things:
First, Star Wars is a registered trademark of Lucasfilm and Disney. All material presented herein is unofficial fanart or fanfiction, created by fans (me and my players) for our enjoyment and not intended for commercial use.
On the other hand this material is still our work and shall not be distributed without our consent.
A little fairness from all sides goes a long way, so we can all enjoy it. :)

Relics of the Sith 2005-2006 ca. 5 ABY 6 5 1 An apprentice-archaeologist on a reclusive mid-rim planet discovered a book hinting towards powerful Sith-relics that could devastate entire worlds. An early Jedi-student of Luke Skywalker was sent to protect the archaeologist on her way to explore ancient Sith ruins. They indeed found Sith-ruins, but were hunted by an imperial warlord who wanted this powerful Sith-technology for his own sinister plans.
Grand Galactic Tour 2.-4. July 2009 ca. 7 ABY 4 4 - Some versions of the d6-core rules feature a colored page with a fictional advertisement for a luxurious 4-week galaxy cruise to some of the most interesting places in the galaxy: Tatooine, Bespin (Cloud City), forest moon of Endor and Coruscant (Imperial City). This ad was the inspiration for a 4-part con-mini-campaign where the players could choose which parts of the journey they wanted to experience.
Dark Trooper Campaign Ca. 2009-2017 (incl. Phase 0),
2012-2017 (Phase 1-5)		 ca. 7-9 ABY 55 31 + Finale 23 A gigantic campaign that ran over 5 years with more than 80 different players and over 100 unique player characters on many of the bigger and smaller RPG-conventions in southern Germany. It ended 2017 in a grand finale.
It all began with the discovery of a black and spooky ship of new design that vanished during its shakedown-cruise and came back with something sinister on board. This was a first hint at a new jumpdrive technology of a resurging empire, led by a surviving noble of Alderaan. But new battle cruisers were not the only threat that this new empire possessed. There were Dark Troopers, genetically and cybernetically enhanced humanoids turned into loyal and emotionless supersoldiers, who brought terror and destruction upon many worlds. And a group of Sith-lords emerged, who were trained by a powerful being beyond the comprehension of the human mind. They supported their dark master who wanted to devour the galaxy as a whole - only opposed by a small New Republic fleet.
Dark Aftermath 03-07/2017 ca. 9-10 ABY 4 4 - Dark Aftermath took up a few of the loose threads from the finale of the Dark Trooper campaign and followed through with them. One of these threads later became the Shadow Invasion campaign.
Underworld Legacy 07/2017-02/2018 ca. 9-10 ABY 17 6 11 This campaign was meant to focus on Mia De’Ore, one of the Protectors of the Galaxy from the Dark Trooper campaign. She had to face her past and present to find a long lost secret, unravel the intertwined paths of her former mentor and her former best friend and discover and preserve both their legacies.
Was played real time after Dark Aftermath, but in game both were parallel storylines.
Shadow Invasion Campaign 10/2017-10/2018 10 ABY 9 7 2 Unfortunate chains of events led to shadowy creatures being introduced to the mid-rim planet Uprilia where they started to take over the bodies of humans and aliens with the goal of ending all natural life in the whole Zulow-sector – and later expand to the rest of the galaxy.
Heir to the Dark Side 02/2018-06/2019 10-11 ABY 34 7 27 The sequel to the Underworld Legacy campaign.
Jedi-apprentice Mia De’Ore had accidentally damaged the holocron where the essences of her masters resided. It could be reactivated in a Sith-temple where one of the masters found a list of dangerous artifacts with enormous destructive potential.
They were under constant pressure from Mia’s old nemesis Rae van Ker and her Sith-master, while another Sith had infiltrated the group itself. Desperately they chased after the relics to save the galaxy from the impending darkness and fulfill an ancient prophecy.
Dark Empire Chronicles 06/2019-01/2020 11 ABY 5 5 - According to the Star Wars timeline the appearance of the Dark Empire was overdue. This campaign follows the stories inspired by the Dark Empire comics in a loosely, semi-coherent form and lets the groups take part in some of the key moments.
Wrath of the Hutt 11/2018-03/2020 11 ABY 20 12 8 If you take away a Hutt’s toys, be prepared for his unending wrath. Lives or galactic alliances are meaningless to him and he happily sacrifices everything else to exact revenge.
Will someone be able to penetrate the veil of lies, intrigue and treachery and save the galaxy from succumbing to his ire?
The Hutt-Gambit 03/2020-12/2020 12 ABY 20 8 12 The sequel to Wrath of the Hutt.
Chiz’tor the megalomaniac leader of the Hutt cartel is dead, murdered by someone with a lightsaber in his own palace. The succession conflict plunges the entire Hutt space into chaos and more than one faction is trying to secure their own slice of the cake.
How can the crew of a small freighter survive this flashpoint while accomplishing their missions?
The Shattered Star 12/2020-03/2021 13 ABY 7 5 2 While trying to save the smuggler’s moon Nar Shaddaa from total destruction force user Dar’Shok was mortally wounded and had to be brought back to life by Jedi-apprentice Shanta Killian using the force.
Afterwards her friends discovered what price she had to pay for her rescue: Shanta’s spirit was partially transferred to Dar and her body was left behind as a naïve, gullible pleasure slave who wanted to fulfill everyone’s most secret desires.
Now, the crew of the “Dream Voyager” is searching for an opportunity to reunite body and spirit of Shanta and free Dar from the girl’s nightmares before it is too late.
Stranglehold of the Octopus 03/2021-06/2021 13 ABY 4 3 1 After Shanta was restored it was time to root out the real menace and target the Octopus himself. But how can they get close enough to one of the galaxy’s most vicious kingpins, now that he has secured his own vast territory?
Cyberia - The Dark City 07/2017-08/2018 (Prologue)
08/2019-06/2021 (Campaign)		 11-13 ABY 8 6 2 During his campaign of annihilation the reborn Emperor Palpatine managed to convert Jedi-Master Luke Skywalker to the dark side and installed him as his executioner.
To restore the failing morale of the republic troops General Shore devised a desperate plan: a symbol of hope, at least equal to the reputation of the former hero of Yavin and Endor, had to be found to rekindle the fighting spirits of soldiers and civilians alike: Trance Killian, who had sacrificed herself in the battle of the eclipse, but whose spirit somehow seemed to have survived.
Mia De’Ore and her most trusted companions embark on a quest to find Trance’s spirit that takes them into another world, the ruins of the “Dark City” and right into the heart of a deadly conflict whose outcome could very well decide the fate of both worlds.
New Adventures (one shots) 10/2021-07/2022

Gangs of Nar Shaddaa 11/2021-09/2022 13 ABY 9 7 2 Mia De’Ore, Protector of the Galaxy from the Battle of the Eclipse, had managed to save her friend Trance Killian in the alien world of Cyberia and bring her back. But when she returned from her four-week horror-trip she had to realize that in the galaxy two and a half years had passed and several friends and foes had perished.


After the death of crime lord Reelo Baruk the smuggler’s moon Nar Shaddaa where Mia had founded a company to reintegrate former slaves into society is in chaos and several swoop gangs are waging a war over control of the moon’s underworld. While trying to save some friends Mia and her comrades are getting involved in the gang wars and find themselves at the center of a brutal conflict.
Starlight Squadron 03/2022-01/2023 13 ABY 12 8 4 In order to protect the New Republic STARLIGHT SQUADRON had been founded by Shanta Killian. Designated as successor to the infamous WRAITH SQUADRON, they take up their work as a special forces unit with their goal to strike against high-level targets.


During their first official mission the unit stumbled upon secret intelligence concerning the whereabouts of the missing Dark Troopers that had been stolen two years ago in a spectacular train heist.


Now, the squadron has been tasked with finding and eliminating the remaining Dark Troopers and investigating who had been pulling the strings on this threat.
Rebels of New Alderaan 03/2023-
(currently playing)		 13 ABY+ 9 played 5 4 „The Galaxy is in Turmoil! New Alderaan, a safe haven for survivors of Alderaans tragic fate has fallen. Only with the help of the New Republic‘s Starlight Squadron did we manage to evacuate thousands of our people – yet many still remain and face an uncertain fate. While defending the royal palace, all of it’s inhabitants and my own life Jedi Knight Shanta Killian was brutally slaughtered by Sith Grand Inquisitor Atrocius. The fragile military union known as the Royal Alliance of New Alderaan (RANA) is on the brink of collapse. Soon, the Empire will reign supreme in our territory. Our darkest hour is upon us.
You may ask: „What hope is there left?“ A wise being once said: „Rebellions are built on hope!“
I am Alicia Thul of Alderaan, Lord-Regent of the RANA and I say:
„We will not give in to terror and fear!“
„We will not let the Empire get away with this!“
„Together, we will take back what belongs to us – Our home!“
We are now the Rebels of New Alderaan. Will you join our fight?“
