Earthdawn Characters

1st Edition / Classic Edition

For a long time Earthdawn had been my favorite RPG, but lately there have been very few game masters for this system in our area. Most of these characters are from 1997 to 2010.

Teleria of K'than
Elf, Swordmaster, Horror Stalker, Elementalist.

My most-played Earthdawn character that has also advanced to the highest circles of all my characters. Teleria is also on legendary rank 3, which means she is pretty well known within the game world. There sure is more than one bard who wrote songs about her adventures, and meanwhile she also serves as a questgiver for lowlevel adventure groups.
Vara Pak-Ti
Human (Cathan), Archer, Scout.

Vara started as a scared refugee from the servos jungle, but since she came to Bartertown she has adapted to the city life and now works on a book about her near- and after-death experiences. She’s my Earthdawn-character with the highest death-rating, having died 3 times already in her first 2 adventures, which left a lasting impression on her.
Shayleen
Human, Wizard.

Shayleen was enslaved as a child from deep within the African continent and brought to the Theran Empire. There she was treated well by her master who taught her many useful skills until he was betrayed and murdered and Shayleen had to flee for her life.
After the discovery of a valuable ancient library brought her fame, renown and wealth she now strives to hone her magic skills and learn as much about the world as she can – by book and by travels.
Miara T'dhara
Elf, Swordmaster.

After my first Earthdawn character, an elven archer, had died in her second adventure already Miara came in as another elf who was searching for her missing sister.
Since this character was bound in a mini-campaign for several years, but I nevertheless wanted to play a character like her at conventions and in another group I created Teleria for that and came up with the rivalry. It is pure irony that the “replacement” Teleria came to action much more frequently and has advanced more quickly than the original character that is still quite low level.
Kenara
Elf, Nethermancer.

One of my lesser played characters. The young elf with a fascination for death is being haunted by the spirits of her family who deceased under unlucky circumstances. She tries to become stronger and more powerful to put things back together.
Sirana Sinata
Windling, Illusionist.

The sassy Sirana is always ready for a prank since she uses her merriness to cover up a dark spot in her past. Anyone who manages to get past her shell of cynicism will find her to be a reliable friend and comrade-in-arms.
