Background

Once upon a time, Tiria Neva was a famed holo-actress and highly acclaimed for her holonovels from the core worlds to the outer rim. Her talent as an actress was as legendary as her airs and graces as a diva, and wherever she showed up there were glamour and scandals not far behind.

She played several prestigious roles in different holo dramas, but was best known for performing as “Charyp’soma, the Buccaneer Queen” in the holo-adventure movie series of the same name. There she was starring as the tough and sexy titular pirate captain who hunted down the starships of the “Evil Star Dominion” (which was – of course – meant to be the empire) with her crew and shared her loot with the poor. Each movie included her seducing the main male cast (in front of the cameras as well as behind, which usually led to additional scandals) and defeating the bad guys in classic swordfights. The first movie was a blockbuster, so they made 4 sequels and combined with a huge franchise the financial success was overwhelming – not to mention that they also stirred a bit of sympathy for the rebellion against the empire.

The empire did not take kindly to this, and when a 6th movie was announced some imperial moff decided to put an end to this series. He found out about the secret shooting location and dispatched a star destroyer to base delta zero the whole site. Everyone on the production team succumbed to the orbital bombardment, including producers, cast, crew, workers, director, assistants, cinematographer, costume designer, prop maker, make-up artist and extras.

Everyone, except for Tiria. She was already dressed up for her role, but as a diva she let everyone wait while she was still in her trailer, when all hell broke loose. Through some beneficial circumstance her trailer was not hit during the initial blast, but instead got pushed to the side and sheltered by some sturdy structure which prevented it from being destroyed. When Tiria woke up with merely a concussion and a small laceration she found that all around her an apocalyptic rain of destruction had gone down, which had destroyed everyone and everything. For hours she stumbled through craters and blasted ruins, saw twisted metal and torn bodies, and at some point her mind decided to do the only thing it could to cope with all this horror: It snapped and Tiria became the character she used to portray. Charyp’soma the Buccaneer Queen, whose crew and ship had been destroyed by the evil Star Dominion in retaliation for her past raids, swore an oath over her fallen comrades to find a new ship and crew and take revenge on the Star Dominion for this.

Physical Description

Charyp’soma is a blue-skinned (Rutian) twi’lek in her mid-twenties. She is extraordinary beautiful and has an innate charismatic appearance that nobody can ignore. She’s 1,64m tall with a slender build.

She usually dresses in typical pirate attire like striped pants, black boots, knotted shirt with wide sleeves and an ornate twi’lek headdress featuring a medal with skull and crossbones attached to it. She also wears lots of bangles, bracelets, rings and necklaces and a broad sash as a belt where she’s tucked away her heavy blaster pistol and the decorative scabbard of her saber.

Her demeanor is spot-on what she had portrayed as “typical” pirate, including every single trope and cliché there is. She doesn’t care if people think that she’s crazy because she’s highly convinced of her brilliant pirate self. In case someone indeed recognizes her as the presumed dead actress Tiria Neva she gets highly irritated and stresses that she is the one and only Buccaneer Queen Charyp’soma and her former self could at best be an impostor.
